A car meet
Reitinger Máté and Nagy Dávid Levente met at a car meet. Their shared interests developed into a friendship and, later, into a shared entrepreneurial vision.
The story of Run Plast Kft. did not begin with a large factory, dozens of machines or hundreds of square metres of production space. It began in a garage, with a single 3D printer and two young people who shared an interest in engineering, technology and cars.
Reitinger Máté and Nagy Dávid Levente founded the company in 2015. Since then, it has developed continuously. What began with a single manufacturing technology has grown to include multiple production processes, engineering design, post-processing and production preparation.
The goal, however, has remained the same from the beginning: to identify and implement the manufacturing solution that best fits the product, application and required quantity.
The name has a simple story, but one that is important to us.
RUN was formed from the surnames of the two founders: Reitinger und Nagy.
The name is therefore more than just a brand. It is directly connected to the two people who founded the company, and whose shared work, decisions and continuous development have shaped Run Plast Kft. over the years.
Reitinger Máté and Nagy Dávid Levente met at a car meet. Their shared interests developed into a friendship and, later, into a shared entrepreneurial vision.
The company started with a single 3D printer as a classic garage-based business. Early production focused mainly on badges and plaques.
As order volumes increased, we moved into our own facility, expanded our 3D printing capacity and introduced vacuum casting.
As the company continued to grow, Pécel became our next location. The production hall was gradually expanded, RIM moulding and injection moulding were introduced, and a dedicated post-processing department was established.
Our development has never been about expanding machinery or production space for its own sake. Every new step has been driven by increasingly diverse customer requirements and more demanding manufacturing projects.
As projects became more complex, it became increasingly important for us to manage more processes in-house.
Vacuum casting was added alongside 3D printing, followed by RIM moulding and injection moulding. Manufacturing is supported by post-processing and inspection processes that allow us not only to produce components, but to finish them according to defined technical requirements.
We do more than manufacture: we consider the product, material, production technology and operating environment as a complete system.
We do not use the same process for every application. We select the manufacturing approach according to the product, quantity and technical requirements.
Our growth has always been shaped by customer requirements and increasingly complex manufacturing challenges.
Engineering design is not a service that was added later in the company's development. It has been an integral part of our work from the very beginning.
In many manufacturing projects, simply producing a component from an existing 3D model or technical drawing is not enough.
This is perhaps one of the most important things our customers value about working with us.
We do not simply want to manufacture from a submitted drawing. We want to think together with our partners. Through our ideas, technical experience and manufacturing knowledge, we help turn concepts into products that can actually be manufactured.
Our goal is not to give the same answer to every challenge, but to work together to find the solution that best fits the specific project.
We intend to continue growing, developing our technological capabilities and expanding our machinery in the years ahead.
Our goal is to provide the right technical and manufacturing background for increasingly complex and higher-volume production projects as the company continues to develop.
Since 2015, we have continuously built our 100% Hungarian-owned company. We started in a garage with a single 3D printer. Today, we support our partners with a significantly broader plastics manufacturing capability, while our core principle remains unchanged: we want to move forward together from concept to finished product.
